With Arsene Wenger’s gang all in Singapore preparing for the Premier League Asia Trophy and kicking their pre-season routine into top gear, it was in Asia that the club decided to launch their brand new away kit this afternoon.

Revealed around the world via a live stream earlier this afternoon, the launch was powered by Arsenal’s fans in Singapore as they sang classic Gunners songs, building an electrical energy that swept the stage powering an intricate projection that transformed a five metre high 3D torso into the brand new away shirt. Fans then welcomed star players Olivier Giroud, Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere to the stage to officially reveal the kit Arsenal will be wearing in away games for the 2015/16 campaign.

The design itself is a combination of both Arsenal and PUMA’s heritage, with a design that reinterprets a classic PUMA Football graphic combined with an Art Deco ‘A’ which is inspired by Arsenal’s past. The main body is a deep rich gold, an evolution of Arsenal’s traditional away yellow tones and it features a diamond graphic that repeats across the front and back panels. The design of the shirt has similarities with this season’s home shirt, which include PUMA’s classic Form Strip as a mesh panel on the shoulders and the dropped back panel. The neck is crew shaped with a v shaped insert and final design details include gold trimmed sleeves and underarm mesh inserts for breathability.
