One of the most recognisable kits in world football, PUMA have stepped things up with the latest interpretation of Newcastle United’s iconic black and white stripes for the 2015/16 season.

The new home kit will be worn for the first time this weekend as the club faces one of its biggest games in recent years against West Ham and at St. James’ Park this Sunday, players will truly have to earn their stripes.

Making the 2015/16 home kit unique, the shirt’s classic black and white stripes have been given a hint of blue, matching the scroll under the famous Newcastle United crest, while the sleeves are predominantly white, but feature a new ‘formstripe’ construction, which removes a traditional shoulder seam, improving fit and allowing unrestricted movement.

Additionally the shirt’s v-neck collar has been engineered to reduce pressure on the player’s neck to enhance comfort and give a clean look to the design.
