With Rangers continuing their incredible rebuilding and restructuring, the 2015/16 season looks set to be one of the most important in the storied club’s illustrious history and matching that significance, PUMA have unveiled their brand new home kit.
Designed with all of the technical innovations to improve player performance that PUMA have developed through their connection with some of the biggest clubs and athletes on the planet, the 2015/16 home kit uses the club’s traditional red, white and royal blue to create a striking new silhouette which features a bold contrast colour stripe on the sleeves and a sophisticated new neckline that continues The Gers’ tradition of a while collar.
Matching the incredible history of the club, PUMA’s new formstripe construction of the sleeve resurrects an iconic detail from the brand’s history, while the construction removes a traditional shoulder seam to improve fit and allow unrestricted movement.
Comfort in the shirt has also been enhanced with added ventilation under the arms, while a contrast panel construction continues the red, white and blue theme. The fabric has been engineered to breathe and wick moisture away from the skit, while a dropped hem, picked out in a contrast colour, adds an extra level of detail and sophistication.
The new kit’s shorts also feature a bold stripe design, with contrast colour panels, while the socks have been given a black leg with a contrast colour red-rib top to continue to the traditional style which was first used in 1904 to reflect the Burgh of Govan.
