With adidas hosting their Predator Instinct Live event in London this week, Chelsea midfielder Oscar gave JD Football a few minutes to share his thoughts on the history of Predator and his advice to players settling into the Premier League. We also managed to grab a few thoughts on the west London club’s season so far as well as this weekend’s clash with Everton.

With two wins in two, Chelsea have made an auspicious start to the new Premier League season, but Brazil international Oscar isn’t getting carried away, “We’ve started well, but it’s only two matches that we’ve played. It’s good that we’ve started well, but there’s a long way to go and I hope we can keep it up and grow during the tournament.”

This weekend Chelsea face their biggest challenge of the season thus far as they visit Goodison Park in Saturday’s tea-time kick-off, “I’m confident. It’s always a hard game at Everton.” The same fixture last year saw Roberto Martinez record his first victory as Everton boss and Oscar doesn’t need reminding, “We lost there last year. But I trust that this year we will be able to play a great game this year.”
